|Haeger Seminole Lamp - Stunning example of this highly collectible MCM designDescription: I have collected, bought and sold Haeger for many years. On occasion, I have been lucky enough to find a piece of Seminole Orange. However, I have never seen this glaze used on a lamp before. According to my research this glaze is from Alrun Guest and dates to 1976-1977. This is a beautiful lamp and would be the focal point of your mid century modern home. I'm going to let the photos do most of the talking, but the lamp has the hand thrown look of the Seminole Orange and Sunset pieces. The colors remain vivid. Shown here with a reproduction linen shade which is not included. I have collected lamps for years, but have to let some of them go. If you have additional information regarding this lamp, please let me know - I welcome any information from collectors.Pottery is 16.5" tall x 12" across at the widest. Bottom ring is 7.5" across. Circumference is approx 39". Fittings and finial add another 9". Overall height is 25.5". Condition: Near mint. No chips, cracks, flakes or other condition issues to note. Two small glaze misses on the bottom rim as seen in photo. Small area of crazing on the bottom as seen in photo. Cord and fittings appear to be original. Lamp does work as shown in photo #2. Should be tested by licensed electrician prior to use. Seller Info: I am a pottery collector. Occasionally I sell items I no longer have room for, or items I find that are in excellent to mint condition and reasonably priced. This is not my job, simply my hobby. As a collector, I hate to get surprises in the mail, so I'm overly cautious and describe items as accurately as I possibly can. I've come to carry my reading glasses and use them while out antiquing and while listing items for sale. Please bid with confidence. Shipping: Due to the large and heavy nature of this lamp, I am quoting shipping at $60 via UPS. In cases of over payment, I will refund the over payment at shipping time. Items are well packed using bubble wrap, packing peanuts, packing paper and sturdy boxes. Insurance is included.|
